So rear locker is optional and no front locker option, but they claim this is the most capable Rover yet.. I still think its garbage.
This is the big question. For the life of me I can’t understand why JLR can’t do what Mercedes, Jeep, and even Suzuki have done. I mean, if they want to abandon that market, fine. But then why waste time and money rolling this out?I’m trying to figure out who their target buyer is and exactly what they’re supposed to be competing against besides the Discovery 5.

Thats exactly right. Their biggest competition are themselves! Not the best business plan if you ask me.I can’t see myself paying $55k for the 90 or more for the 110. Pricing is pretty disappointing. I could see myself not scoffing at paying $40k for the 90. But at $55k you’re looking at a well equipped diesel 4x4 F250, a fully optioned out Ranger, and any combo of Jeep Wrangler with loads of options added.

I bet you there is a bunch of coolers and other crap behind there. That front-end gets me every time I see it. They should have done away with the bulk of it:

Well I'm sure glad they didn't bring something like this to the states. You probably couldn't give them away.
