No longer available. I was driving to pick up a foosball table and I lost all oil pressure. I am just glad I didnt sell it before this happened. I would have felt horrible. I am possibly going to sell it as is or part it out.

I was able to get the crank sensor out but that damn dongle is a nightmare. Any secrets? I am going to drop the exhaust in the am to see if I can get it out.

Thanks stu, I am off to the LR dealership. This is what I thought it was going to be after reading another thread but the lights and the codes threw me for a loop. 100.00 for each guess on what could fix the problem could add up quickly.

ok, I let the Disco run at idle in my driveway to see if I could reproduce the issue. After around 15 to 20 minutes it just died. The power was still on and the engine temps were good. I was working on my project car in the garage so I couldnt see if anything lit up again. No codes, wont...

if it was a failing alternator wouldnt my battery be dead? I know once an alternator fails the vehicle will still run but just off of battery power till that has run out of juice.

i was reading on another board that some people have had similar problems. turns out it was the crank positioning sensor.

I went out and checked my grounds, battery terminals, etc... all my grounds were clean and tight. The positive battery terminal was covered in acid so I gave it a baking soda bath and a wire brush cleaning and it looks like new again. Before I cleaned the terminal I checked for any voltage...

Well I know that P1668 is an alarm fault. I am thinking the alarm was doing a fuel cut off. But no horn honking. I hope the ECU didnt take a dump or is about too

Well today I had a weird one. I was cruising along and all of the sudden about every light on my dash indicators lit up, 3 amigos, hazards, everything. Then I was losing fuel and then pulled over to the median. I have a hand held obd scanner and came up with the following codes: P1884 P0335...

After tearing it down it turns out that the bolt and washer were still attached. The rubber and outter pulley separated from the inner metal piece that attaches to the crank. So my harmonic balancer separated. Any way to just lift the radiator without diconnecting the hoses? I only need...
