What happens if you raise the RPMs and pop the clutch? Does it grab immediately? Shudder? Yeah I know it?s a Disco so it won?t smoke the tires...but it might give a clue about a clutch problem.

Both times mine has quit working it was the pedal switch. One time the plastic tab was broken that holds it in place. It was out of adjustment another time. You have to pull it out and then press the pedal down to ratchet it into position.
I used the O2 socket but ground it flat on a bench grinder. It is flared for some unknown reason and likes to slip. I could get it to bite then. I've taken the coil pack out enough times that it takes me 2-3 minutes. It makes getting to the connectors so much easier IMHO. Mark your wires once...
