I ended up getting some used Thule 450Rs and Aeroblades in very good condition. The 450R's attach to the big side tubes with a rubber covered steel strap. The 450Rs slide into the slot at the bottom of the Aeroblades. For the ski rack it self, I got a used Yakima FatCat Evo 4, which straps...
Thanks guys,
I see the that Thule has a 450R Crossroad foot with a metal/rubber strap that may work then the cross bars attach to those, then the ACTUAL ski rack gets mounted to the crossbars. Jeez. Even used parts on local craigslist would total out at around $400.
Apparently, Thule's...
So for the skiers out there, what's the ski rack solution? Skis are too long to throw 'em in the back, so... Thanks to the big tube rails, not many options.
Thanks,

I get an annoying noise only when I have the car in R. Not every day though. I can make it go away if I pull the hand brake.
Suggestions? ( Beside getting a different vehicle)

Check with Falconworks in Tucson about the ABS. They can rebuild it or send you the parts if you want DIY, but being a safety item, you cannot screw it up or sadness and regret will surely follow.
For suspension parts, I would go with RTE if you're going to rough it. They use Bilstein 7100 shocks w/ separate reservoir.
I cannot recommend OME Nitro-charger Sport shocks. Maybe they're O.K. if you run near the GVW, but anything less, your teeth will rattle out your mouth.
Run stock rather...
I saw there can be a hole where the roof rail ends near by the windshield due to welding incompetence and/or the welder was more interested in getting his daily pint at the pub down the road. Or the robotic welder ran out of wire. "F' it. Where's me pint?"
Well, Google is not your friend, but comes in handy once in awhile.
Has that vehicle been yours for the whole 235K?
Sensors usually don't last that long. That's Twice their normal lifespan. Probably have the original spark plugs in as well.
You have an oxygen sensor problem, Camshaft position...
I would get the brand name of the part that you took out whether its the fuel pump or CPS. At least the one you took out lasted at least 5 years.
Parts from the Middle Kingdom are too inconsistent or junk. False economy.
Someone needs to write "Zen and the Art of Land Rover Repair", becuase many young punks who used to own VW's now own some form of Rover. It was a famous book when Bugs were still a fairly common sight, and much more readable than the RAVE manual.
Well OK, I don't know about "many", but at...
The kick-down cable could be disconnected at the transmission side or the throttle side or both. Or it just snapped.
To fix it yourownself, you need to download the RAVE manual. Search the interwebs for RAVE manual enlightenment and free download,
It's probably somewhere on this...
