    96 P38 with No Low Range?????

    The motor that changes the high range to low range is probably burnt out or the ecu is damaged. I have seen this in a few - if yours is broken you are lucky that it has failed into high range most of them fail into neutral. Tom

    Make sure you seal the bolts that hold the valley in place - they leak coolant otherwise Tom

    Test your air flow meter - your workshop manual will tell you From memory it should show 0.2V - 0.7V across pin 35 and ground Tom

    I get 5 pushes before it comes on which is normal, any less and the acculumator is suspect. Tom

    engine cuts out at full throttle

    Check you air flow meter by connecting multimeter to pin 35 and ground on you ecu, I think from memory it should show from 0.2V - 0.7V for normal outside of that it is broken. Check the testing procedure as that is off the top of my head - it sounds to me like the car is not metering the air...
