would a warn diff cover fit a 1997 Disco? I'm wondering if our diffs are compatible with one of the dana ones?

I was checkin over the disco this afternoon after a weekend of mud and found that the "steering rod" for the right wheel is loose and by twisting it in an up/down fashion it moves quite easily. Is this normal, if not how do I tighten? I've attached a pic explaining the part i'm talking about.
