I've been looking for a 2003 or 2004 D2 to replace my 96 D1 5 speed. While searching, I keep seeing 03 or 04 Range Rovers for just a couple thousand more. Are the costs of ownership much different for the two of them? Also, are parts as available for the Range Rover as they are for the D2 ?

Going to rebuild my fuel pump assembly with the E3270 Impala pump. From doing searches, it seems best to use fuel injection line instead of regular fuel line but I'm not sure of the size. Is 1/2 inch correct or what size have you used? Also, what is the purpose of the pump assembly being spring...

Going to be changing bushings on my panhard rod soon. The panhard bolt under the steering drop arm looks like it doesnt have enough clearance to be backed out enough to drop the rod. Does something else need to be removed or should I just cut it off and reinstall with the bolt head on the other...

1996 D1 5 speed. Every now and then while vehicle is stopped, I push in on my clutch pedal and it goes and stays to the floor. Sometimes I can lift it with my foot but usually I have to start pumping the crap out of it to get it back to normal. Then it acts OK for a while. Never any trouble...

What is the highest mileage D2 ya'll have seen with the original head gaskets? There has to be some that have went over 100k with no problems.

Does Haynes make a repair manual for the 03-04 DII with the 4.6 engine? The only ones I could find say they are for a diesel model. What other manuals are available and affordable?
