Installing headers and D1 and picked up a D2 90 deree knock sensor to use on the driver side. The hole on the D2 knock sensor is smaller than the bolt I would use to screw it to the block. Question is do I drill out the hole larger or do I have to make a special bolt or adaptor to install the D2...

Have as set of hedman header ready to install on 1998 Dico 1, already heated and bent. I already removed, broke off the driver knock sensor while dry fitting the headers. In other post they refer to using a 90 degree knock sensor, Are they referring to the Disco 2 sensors that use a bolt? Thanks

Changing the swivel balls on a 1998 disco 1. Putting on swivel balls that are redrilled for new lift. Have only changed out one side so far. Have a few questions before I start on the other side. Will it make a different in preload if the redrilled swivel balls are crome colored and the old ones...

Sorry for no location. I am located in Ca. My local tire shop had this brand among others. They were cheaper than BFG and were radials. Needed tires and was not sure if I was going to keep it. I kept it and put a higher lift and the tires were too small. The tires sold this morning. Thanks

Have four 235/85/16 BST radial M/T tires. Almost new, about 1000 miles on them. Prefer pickup, but will ship, have no idea what shipping is on tires. $250 plus shipping

D1 Rovertym 2" front and rear aluminum suspension spacers, with front shock top mount plates and bolts. $160 shipped

I think I might have a buyer for the set, springs and shocks. If the deal does not go through, then I will seperate the shocks and springs. Will keep infomed.

Rovertym 2" springs and 2" OME shocks, front and rear, 8 months old. In perfect shape springs have no rust. Shocks have some scratches from install. Loc in 91711 weight is 100lbs $440+ shipping

The shifter does move to the left, it moves to all four positions. You are right, I have never locked the diff. I figured it was like other 4x4 I have had and will lock when in neutral and moving the shifter. Read about other with same problem, it souds like it will engage better when moving...

Thanks you the info. Was not planning on driving it, just wanted to move it from the middle of my driveway. Not easy to push, have tried (up driveway). Locked it up and still did not move (tried low and high), the front driveshaft flang moves, but no movement to the rear. I think It has a D1...

Removed the front driveshaft (going to have a new DC one built)and my D1 no longer moves. The rear won't engage. Thought I could still drive it until the new drive shaft was built. Appears the drive line requires both front and rear drive shafts to run, is this correct. Thanks
