I have a 4.0 liter from a DII. It is complete with the exception of the starter and a couple misc. sensors. I bought it to replace the 176k motor in my wife's disco but have since sold the Disco. I paid way too much... but now the wife wants it out of the garage (I would keep it as a spare for my Range Rover, but she really just wants it gone). The motor is supposed to have 50k on it... The oil and antifreeze both looked good when the motor was pulled, but I have not heard it run. The wiring harness was clipped off at the firewall, so it is no good, as well as having a few other random snips where the TPS was removed. It would be a good short block for virtually any Rover, or you could drop the whole thing into a DII of like vintage. I would like to get $800 for it but I am open to offers. I am in the Salt Lake City, Utah region.
edit: I am open to trades, I am looking for a rear diff and shafts from a disco and a detroit locker. I would be open to a detroit for my current 10 spline, but I am not sure I can afford all the axle shafts...
