You keep saying "distinguished gentleman". I don't think that means what you think it means.

If by 'distinguished gentleman' you mean 'pompous clown with more money than intelligence', then yes that is correct.

I think that's an OK looking truck, it just ain't worth anywhere near $21k. I mean not in the same ballpark, not the same sport, not even remotely fuckin close. $21k is baseball and that truck is women's field hockey. $21k is oil and that truck is water. $21k is a polar bear and that truck is a penguin. $21k is a bacon double cheese burger and that truck is tofu. $21k is Chuck Norris and that truck is Kevin Bacon. $21k is Tiger Woods and that truck is the Pope.

Just another case of "I just realized how much money I actually sunk into this losing proposition so it's time to sell!"

^^^ agreed, but hey there always has to be a sucker to pay that money initially so that we can get the goodies at a discount later. I'd rather pay 5k less and buy a good new body style RR as a pavement princess.

I'll admit it. I was wrong. Pulled out the receipts last night. Changed my price.

Wasn't trying to jam anyone, it was late, and i was guestimating.

Original post edited. But still not going to be to your liking. Ha.

Asking $18,900 for the vehicle.
$3,187 for a fluid, belt, hose, and head gasket change, and
$8,396 worth of unnecessary, personal preference upgrades leaves you with a value of $10,504 which is about a good ballpark figure for a well maintained '03 without a CDL xfer case with 70 - 80k on it.

Honestly, you'd do better taking all the extra stuff you put on it off and selling the truck as stock and parting the upgrades out.

Good luck with the sale, but it's like gold-plating a turd.

Urban-Put the damn truck on EBay and you'll see...You might be lucky to get 11k for it. Good luck. RC

The truck does look good.

Recouping money from custom work is damned near impossible. The same thing happens with custom guns; $500 base gun + $1000 in modifications does NOT equal $1500 worth of gun to a buyer.

I've bit and been bitten on that front before.
