Asking $18,900 for the vehicle.
$3,187 for a fluid, belt, hose, and head gasket change, and
$8,396 worth of unnecessary, personal preference upgrades leaves you with a value of $10,504 which is about a good ballpark figure for a well maintained '03 without a CDL xfer case with 70 - 80k on it.
That $3187 maintenance bill doesn't do shit to add value to the rig. I'd pay *maybe* 25% of retail for all the bolt on parts, so that puts it in the $13k range.

This is one thing that i dont get. Regardless of the price someone is asking for his truck, which maybe higher than others, if truck A and truck B are identical stock trucks (mileage, features, etc). Then owner of truck A decided to invest money into additional armor, lockers, etc etc. And as a buyer of a truck this is something you plan on doing to a stock truck anyway, why not pay more for a truck with the upgrades already done? Granted its not going to be stock truck price, plus a full price of the upgrades, but at the same time a truck with extra shit on it should yield more money. That shit aint cheap, i just dont get guys bitching about having to pay for the aftermarket stuff. Just buy a stock truck then and spend way more modding it. Rant over.

i agree with balla06. i've bought stock trucks only to dump thousands into it. if i come across a rig with all the right mods and done right i dont mind paying a little extra for it since i'll end up dishing it out myself.

another thing i dont get is why people feel the need to comment on shit like "it probably will never see mud..." and then bash it. who gives a flying fuck what he does to his ride and what he wants to do with it.

free xmas eve bump!

I'm sure the removal of all the carpet and sound damping material should be seen as an upgrade to an already not so quite driving vehicle?

oh, snap. i did you a favor. KBB value in excellent condition with some extra options..................................$11,880

visit KELLY BLUE BOOK.

this should give you a fair idea of what to start with. these sometimes disgruntled blokes are on the money about yer truck. there is nothing unique about what you've done to yours. in fact, many of them have vehicles similar to yours for their wife. i'm not being an ass, just realistic. LR's do not hold their value unless we go into specifics. use the search tab for that.

perhaps the reason for our reaction is just how you deal with the muliple visits onto this small site with such ludicrous inquires regarding vehicle pricing.
