1995 Classic windshield

My friend cracked his windshield on his 95 classic. AB shows them in stock and the price is what I expected.
He's on vacation in Wellfleet Mass so I did a quick check with Safelite. Their site is saying $308 installed!!! Sounds to good to be true. Anyone have experience with Safelite and a 95 classic?

I was under the impression that '95 Classic glass was NLA.

AB's is listed as heated and Safelite gave the option of heated or non.

Anyone have experience with Safelite and a 95 classic?

I've used them for several vehicles (only chips/cracks on my RRC). They're great to work with and I'll use them every time.

They replaced my windshield in my '88 (ordered a heated one for a '93) and they did a fine job. I was wondering specifically about the '95. The price is almost unbelievable.

I had safelite put a heated screen in my 03 disco. It seemed ok.

Safelite replaced the windshield on my D1; it was a good job, but I had to buy all the trim gaskets from the dealer (AB has then now at about half the price). The windshield, however, was a lot thinner than original, and it developed sand pitting after a single sandstorm in Arizona - but I guess all replacement windshields are going to be like that.
Time to replace it again, thanks to a fortunate rock in Nevada.

I had one windshield on my old D2 replaced by Safelite, was heated, worked fine, no leaks.
I had one windshield on my old D1 replaced by Bubba's glass, sumbitch leaked on the drivers side.
I"ll take Safelite.

Got a replacement heated one from AB a while back. Biggest issue is preserving / getting the seals.

You cannot re-use the seals. I can get them.
