Jake, when I was designing my project ( that never came to life )

Weld middle doors
Halfway on the middle doors, weld the bed bulkhead of a ranger pickup same height of the window bar.
cut the roof to that line and place a modified top from a rear door weld to the upper quarter panel angle to complete the cab.

Rhinoline the interior of the so call newly created bed.. done

Optional roll cage mounted to front bumper, rock sliders and angled down on the bed to frame

Yea this is exactly why I need to start saving - Watching "a 4x4 is born" where they are building a 100" defender truck on a Range Rover frame has gotten to me. Maybe not something as extreme but I'd love to have a coil sprung series truck..

You watching that on youtube? Better suscribe to that guys videos... he has the best! :)

Truck is still for sale!! Let me know if you're interested in seeing or driving it!

Forgot to mention I started it up and did some donuts in the back yard in the snow today

I just bought a D2 so Im thinking about striping down my 96 D1 once I find a donor SIII

Damn well let me know, I am looking for body parts too. I am going to look into using the disco body. Since I got the swap done and have the old 4.0 torn down on an engine stand I am trying to decide if I want to put the money into rebuilding that or chopping this disco up...

OK ladies and gents, I dont have time for this thing anymore and need money to pay the government come June!

$500 or best offer takes it. Once again it runs and drives but I would suggest bringing a trailer because it has some holy floors and is missing a head light, side markers and VSS.
