1995 D1 $500 obo

I bought a black 1995 Disco with the intentions of putting replacement floor panels in it but have decided I could use the money for another project instead. This would be a good project/trail truck for somebody who is proficient with welder. The truck has 1685xx miles and the only reason I havent parted it or sold it to somebody to part it is because of how well the truck runs. I drove it from Joppatown MD to York PA bout an hour and 15 mins no problem. Drove it around town while doing the engine swap on my 96. No check engine light, only ABS light. It is not losing any coolant or oil, transmission shifts fine, transfer case is a but touchy I believe it is missing the solenoid that prevents you from shifting it while in gear. It has a 2" lift, very low milage 245/75 long trail T/A's. It has drilled and slotted rotors which I think make a funny noise when braking, may also be the rust. There is the normal surface rust on this truck but the frame and the rest of the body besides front floor panels are solid. The interior is the only bad part. It needs new floor panels from the firewall to where the backseats start. Looks like water ran down A pillar and puddled on the floor. The previous owner replaced the head liner thinking it would fix the issue, needless to say I doubt it but I havent seen any water puddling either. The project was started by PO so the seats are not attached to the floor at this time. I believe heater fan is dead or it needs a new fuse havent had a chance to work on it yet. Needs a turn signal and a brake light in the rear, all the front lights works great. It does have a small exhaust leak but isnt bad at all.

Any questions or if you want pics let me know. I will try to post some later on. $500 or best offer takes it

Throw down $9K and I'll swap you a really pretty nice 109!

Yea this is exactly why I need to start saving - Watching "a 4x4 is born" where they are building a 100" defender truck on a Range Rover frame has gotten to me. Maybe not something as extreme but I'd love to have a coil sprung series truck..

Then just save your pennies for body parts and cab and bulkhead and build it on this if it runs so well and the only issue is the interior which you wouldn't keep with a 100" defender hybrid.

Yea I know.... It's a lot of project for me to take on right now. Work space is limited. If I still have thing sitting around come spring it may be a different story. I think I'd be better off just finding a nice series to drive around. I already have the 96 as a trail rig.. I really dont even need two rovers

I'm not selling you my Stage One if you're gonna do that to it.

I have outriggers, a bulkhead, seat box and rear tub to build a 100" truck. Just sayin'.

nah something that nice would stay as is. however a series I could afford would be a lot oe restoration anyway.

Does the body fit on the 100" frame? Wheel wells line up and everything or would I have to chop the tub? If it fits how many arms and how many legs do you want for it?

DAMN IT YOU GUYS!!! I posted this up so I would make some money.. how did I know this was going to happen haha
