Reed says hes going to be here at 9:30am

knowing reed, Id swing through around 11 if you're really interested in ground pounding in the 30's.

I probably need to run out and grab some new gloves....my old ones are soaked in gasoline.

You know I have a heater for my garage now why you doing crap out in the cold?

But I migh swing by too if I get bored.

OK well it is officially up for sale! 95 LWB, Alpine white in color. The paint is a little faded and discolored in spots, I was going to paint it this coming summer but we have a baby coming then, so...
We bought this mid-2010 to replace our daily driver, also a white 95 LWB, that was dangerously rusted out. It has RTE sliders (with nerfs) and upgraded H4 headlights. I immediately put OME coils on it, some Bilstein shocks, 265/75s, and did an LT230 conversion using a very low mileage transfer case from a late model D1. Also new brakes, wheel bearings, hub seals, etc, and new rear link bushings. My wife drives this everyday, it has 139K on it, every single thing works but the driver's seat heater, and the SRS light is on. :( The seat ECU is good, the dash cupholder works, the clock and radio are perfect, subwoofer is not blown, CD changer works, and it comes with two working keyless remotes. Gas tank recall has been confirmed as done with LRNA, the ignition switch has been recently replaced, as has the brake pump, and oil cooler lines. It drives great but is probably due for a basic tune up, and the ball joint in the rear suspension is making a little clunking noise. Oh one of the catalytic converters rattles sometimes, the liftgate struts are weak, and the spare 265 tire/wheel dont fit in the factory spot so there isnt anything in that spot at the moment. There is a tiny bit of rust on the rear liftgate, definitely not enough to warrant replacement. Likewise when the previous owner installed the Rovertym sliders it looks like he scratched the paint in the door sills in a couple spots and there are tiny rust spots there as well. Honestly the sliders need to come off and be painted, most of us are familiar with how the RTE stuff looks after a few years. The genuine LR rubber floor mats are less than 6 months old, but I think we have the original carpet mats around here as well... I have been given permission to sell it for $6K, but I am willing to entertain offers of a little less.

I've been thinking more and more about these trucks. This one is beautiful, I might be in love. If only you were closer to me I'd consider selling my mickey mouse DII for this, you ever get near Albany, ny?

Dude, fly in/drive home. You will be driving a luxurious all wheel drive limo. The LWB is very comfortable. It drives very smooth down the freeway. This is the sought after 1995. Joel is a stickler with his vehicles, and I'm sure this one is ready for a 2000 mile road trip. Fly down and enjoy the drive back.

No doubt, if I were young(er) and single I'd probably be on a plane right now heading down there. The disco is nice, but it is cramped especially with kids, car seats and everything. If my gas mileage is going to suck, it might as well be in a big and comfortable ride. I've never driven one, but I don't doubt the lwb is nice going down the road. Plus it just has so much more styling (our disco is dubbed the turtle). I ran it by the wife, she liked it but said the non-functioning heated seat was a deal breaker (roll eyes). I know I've got the bug though because I keep checking it out. It's actually only a 700 mile trip...

Do the Fly and drive, I did last summer from VA to Chicago IL. It was the best choice I could have made.

I got a great RRC at a great price, I got to meet some great Rover people (including Joel also saw this RRC in person and it's damn nice) helped out a buddy with picking up a bumper/winch combo he had bought and saw the USA in something much better than a Chevrolet. It helped me remember what a truly beautiful place America is after of a year of sand and sand storms.

Wife got an LR3...........

I have to sell either the Disco or the LWB. I have more money dumped in the Disco. Although, I've seriously thought about doing some parts swaps and selling the Disco. Te LWB is that nice.

I will let the guy know. He's actually on this board.

Sorry, Joel. Hijack off. (heh, heh, I said hi, jack off)
