SOLD - See Marty (drillbit) for parts from this one.
I really hate to do this, but I've got to move in a few days and just haven't had any of the time to work on this like I've wanted to, so my '99 DII is for sale. Time is really the critical factor here, so if you can pick it up by next weekend (4/12/08 wknd) then I'd like to hear from you. The truck is in zip 45810 (Ada, Ohio) and will need hauled. It has a clear title.
Please PM for my phone number if you're interested in talking more about it.
No offer is insulting, but please try to keep the time wasting to a minimum. So be serious about if this is something you're interested in. I'm asking $2350 OBO for the truck and all the parts I have for it so far. There can be a good discount if you can get it by this weekend.
Pictures are here: http://ohiocomps.com/rover/ The outside profile picture is before the new wheels were put on and the tree incident.
Details:
It does need work as it hit a tree a few months ago and has been in my garage since then. The tree hit basically on the driver's side headlight. The hood and brushguard did most of the damage. The hood buckled and the corner of the hood cracked the windshild and a-piller. The brush guard twisted and messed up the radiator, grill, bumper, and other front end components. I've slowly been working on it, but have really run out of time.
I'll try to be as thorough as possible, but if you have other questions please feel free to ask. It has about 115k and the interior is in excellent condition. It has the H/K premium sound system, black exterior, grey leather, CD changer, line-in/ipod hookup, Motorola blue tooth integrated hands free kit, dual sunroofs, tinted windows, and all standard features. It had the head gaskets completely redone by the dealership (with documentation) and I have lots of other documentation. I'll check on the mileage on the work and post up. It's also had a MAF, serpentine belt, champion plugs, Magnecore wires, O2 sensors put in recently. Was pulling no codes and was throwing the three amigos, but I had it read with a Autologic and it was found to be the front passenger's wheel sensor.
This is an early DII so you've got the CDL (just no linkage for it) already there.
What it needs:
- core support or subframe (see pictures).
- radiator
- hood and driver's side hood hinge
- front bumper (I was going to make a beefier winch-ready one)
- grill (again, was just going to make one)
- headlights
- windshield and seal(the hood buckled and the corner of the hood went into the windshield)
- headlamps (I already have the '04 style ones that I was going to upgrade to, but those could be negotiated)
- brush guard (if you wanted one again)
I've already removed most of the front subframe and components to prep it for the repair. Here are some of the parts I already have that are included:
- fender skin
- black plastic piece behind the wiper
- washer fluid tank and filler neck
- engine fan
- transmission cooler
- oil cooler
- fan shroud
- and other random stuff I can't think of right now.
I've spoken to Marty (drillbit) and he had everything in right now except maybe a bumper. I'm sure between Will and Marty you'd find all the parts you'd need to finish this up.
Sum up:
- $2350 OBO
- Black/grey leather
- Clear title
- located in 45810
- Needs to be gone in a week or very, very shortly thereafter.
A couple of guys have just bought other Rovers from me and I'll be happy to give you there info for a reference if you need it.
EDIT: Added post with more service info.
