You've caught me out? Wtf is that? Have you been sniffing glue during your time off?

He found something that I personally find annoying in one of my own posts: A "positive absolute".

There is nothing that must be. All probability necessarily defaults to zero, because zero is a possible state.

Statements referencing this create what I call "negative absolutes".

While annoying, they are acceptable.

Examples:

1: A text must receive a response. False; default to zero. Unacceptable.

2: No text must receive a response. Physical truth in philosophical falsehood. Acceptable.

3: A text will receive a response. Physical and philosophical truth; theological paradox. Initial sensitivity.

4: A text will not receive a response. Physical and philosophical truth; theological paradox. Initial sensitivity.

I don't normally slip into positive absolutes, but I'm not always paying attention, and sometimes just don't find the subject matter important enough to police my ramblings. Other times, I might spot it, but I don't think anyone will notice or care.

It happens. This time I didn't catch it. PM did.

Cheers,

Kennith

What I'm not in love with is interweb tough guys. What gets you guys off? Mom not pay you enough attention as a kid? Wife, maybe? You make mention of this in your profile. Sucks being on the other end don't it?

I guess you missed the part on dweb were guys bust each others balls. So your not denying your in love with Kenny.

Back to your original question, it was an easy choice for me. This is Alex at his first MAR in 2003 and then again recently after he inherited my D1.

It's also hard to text while shifting. I like the manual idea.

I had no problem texting and/or smoking while shifting gears in my MG. I hit someone once while I was changing the song on my iPhone driving around 45 MPH not wearing my seatbelt (I'd rather die than be paralysed). It actually had nothing to do with me being on my phone, they just didn't see me and pulled out in front of me, so I hit the side of their car. I didn't feel a thing. My vote is an MGB.

I agree the MGB is a good choice as well. Great fun to drive, lots of aftermarket support, and not to bad in the winter with a hard top on it with snow tires. It also provides plenty of father son time when it breaks down.

oh and put on a seat belt your occasionally useful on the forums.:bigok:

Just upgrade it to the 3 point inertia reels like the rest of us that think lap belts are a joke.

I always wear a seatbelt, just never in the MG.
