Now, at 209800 miles on a 1995 Disco I and has starting to spin apart. Here are the things I've done in the past 12 months:

New Heads
Cats
Radiator
Brakes
Therostat
Starter
Fan clutch
U-Joints
CV-Joints
Water pump
Aux fans
Hoses

I just bought a 1995 with 208K+, so I can't take full credit for it. Looking at the voluminous service history (all done at the same dealer by two POs), there was no major component replaced nor much beyond routine service and replacement of tires and the like. Heck, the last PO even had the dealer fix dings and scratches.

Although nervous about the high mileage I proceeded based on the anal service record. So far so good after a month. Only one issue with occasional hard starting. Otherwise good to see a number of Discos out there with substantially more than 200K! I just got new tires with a 60K warranty, my goal is to see it out!

God willing, I will be there before Thanksgiving. 193k as of now, feeling pretty good about things. Finally going to invest some money in it to get it the way I would like it, so I hope it doesn't puke anytime soon. Over the past 800 miles it's given me 17 mpg in mixed driving so either I just broke it in or it's about to drop vital parts and oil all over the interstate. :D

With that kind of service record, set your sights a bit higher !

did you buy it new? i did several HG's on in factory warranty trucks (ie less than 45k). one had like 21k on it even...

I bought my truck with only 10K miles on it in 2004. Now my last trip to the Frisco dealer due to my XYZ switch failing, they said my HG's were leaking. But I don't see any symptoms yet. But who's to say they won't fail next week.

I've got 210K on my '95. Just got it back on the road after I bought it with a bad T-case for $600. So far it runs fine. I need to do some work on the tail lights and heater blower, and replace the Y pipe (exhaust leaks).

Congrats. Put 150K on my 2000 now have 130K on 2004. No real issues really.
Wow!! Tha's a lot of miles for a pre 96 model. Those models were supposed to be lemons; I guess they were wrong. As with most cars, the longer you keep them....

That's a lot of miles!!!!
I am not sure how you've done it but preventive maintenance and fixes probably were a big part of it. As we get know these trucks (Thanks in part to this board) we've come to know exactly what to expect just by the way they drive.
