120 here. Other than the replacement of valve gaskets, the regular repairs, and regular maintenance : replace both idler pulleys, the tensioner assembly, front DS, rotors, brakes, coolant tank, plugs, wires, all fluids, blower motor, ABS modulator, and will probably have to replace the radiator before too long.
should replace the water pump soon and then I'll be on for doing the replacement of fluids again.
Cool..Just had to mention the Passport. I know you own a Disco.

Bottom line is..These Discos are not perfect but they are HIGHLY addictive.

lol..is that 200k loving miles, or 200k after 3 rebuilds, 6 electrical exorcisms, and one superlock-out? If only Honda took over Land Rover :D
hmmm.... since I bought my 96 with 40kmi on it, 1 HG job done at 185kmi as preventative, because I saw a drop of coolant on the edge of the head before a trip to Moab. IIRC, it still has its original fan and fan clutch.
Electrical exorcisms? two fuses that feed the spider unit, and turn signal stalk.

the 95 LWB had a lot more work done in its 200k - the PO handed me $12k worth in dealer invoices when I bought it in 2001, exhaust including cats was replaced, and 1 HG job because the driver side HG blew to outside (sounding like one hell of exhaust leak).

Biggest difference at least for me is I LIKE the truck. I like working on them, I like driving them, I like knowing what I can do and where I can go with them. My wife is the same way. I would rather drive and maintain a 14 year old Rover than anything I see out there right now.

I also find them easy to work on. You can get to just about anything with regular tools, the boards are very helpful and you can figure out how to fix anything just by searching them.

I really don't ever see a time that I won't have at least one around here.

knew a woman who had a whopping 330,000 miles on her 2002 D2. Not only that, she towed horses to and from montana to topanga canyon with it every other month.

that thing would still be on the road if it wasnt totaled in an accident about a year or so ago.

"Shanti" RIP....... - the truck. not the lady!

186000 miles and it still has its origanal head gaskets. Just put a water pump and hoses on it to be safe. The originals were still going strong.
I only wish it didnt have this stupid alarm system in it.

225,000. I got it used in 2000 with 38k on it. Used to put 30,000 / yr on but not since adding an 04 and an lr3 and an audi. Mom needed something in a hurry so I gave it to her, it's never broken down and runs super smooth and solid.

If you read the posts about this truck 8 years ago, you would have thought they were all about to die around 50k miles...

:applause: We need to let the haters know that we're not a bunch of idiots to own these rigs. Now just imagine 4 leases at about $500/month for 12 years...Ouch!!

Hello fellow enthusiasts:
I now have had my DII for 7 1/2 years. It's got 132k on the ODO and I bought it with 55k off a lease.
Just wondering if anyone has reached that elusive plateau just yet. I have recently decided to go for it. I should get there in 6 years.
Any DIs out there with 200K? DIIs?

Please feel free to join the Club and tell us how fun or painful it was to get there. Let's have some fun.

I think once you reach 150K; there are a few sensors and parts that will request your attention. That's quite normal. At least we do not have $800 Scheduled maitenance to deal with. Keep rovering on.....
