2004 Dii question

I saw a 04 Dii 7-seater, 4-sale. Looks like a good price.
The ad mentions a recent head gasket change, and new water pump replaced (and a new drive shaft, shocks, brakes and new tires within the past 6 months). But it needs a new front bumper, one headlight and fog light (fender looks fine in the pic / hard to tell if the hood creased near the broken headlight).

Are there any problem areas with the 04's I should know about before thinking about taking a look at the vehicle?
I seem to recall something about the oil pump but I can't remember if that was with the 02-03's Dii??
Thanks

The bumpers are flimsy and get more brittle every year.
The slightest bump will crack them and they're not cheap or easy to ship.

03's had the oil pump issues, but the 04's have the same block and there's enough evidence to suggest these blocks are more prone to failure than the 4.0 version.. In our local LR club alone, we've had many 4.6 blocks go bad...

but almost any will suffer head gasket failures, that's pretty normal..

Did the previous owner let it overheat and is that why the head gaskets were just replaced?

Does it have indication of a tick-tick-tick-tick-tick at idle or low RPM (2,000 or below)?

-Thanks for the info on the engine and oil pump. I'm guessing its hit or miss on the pump?

-good question to ask on the head gaskets

Did the previous owner let it overheat and is that why the head gaskets were just replaced?

Does it have indication of a tick-tick-tick-tick-tick at idle or low RPM (2,000 or below)?

-have not talked with the owner yet

What was the price?

-$3750 but living up in the NE if I decide to call (ie get permission from the holder of the purse) I'm going to have ask about the frame too.

Short block, came out of a 2004 stocker with 50k miles that got T-boned in an intersection.
