Oh damn I love it when you guys talk dirty like that!

I'd be pretty darn ticked off by now. This guy has had plenty of time to at least make contact with an implication of making this right. If he happens to make his way through Missouri I'll make him squeal like a pig as part of my duty to the community. Oh yeah, and just cause it's fun!

Those are NOT HD CVs, fact.

100% sure.

IIRC, my HD rear shaft looks different, I will post a pic of mine when I get home tonite.
that looks stock to me, at 1st glance.

Your pic of the diff and rtv sealant are not telling me anything tho.Looks plenty old tho. If its a TT, and you wheel it, you'll "hear" the TT "ratchet". open the diff fill plug and have a lookie inside.

I have not passed judgement whatsoever. Maybe it was fabricated, maybe he genuinely does not know. Only one person knows that. The only thing I know is that I paid quite a bit of money for something and I'm going to enjoy it. TT/Diffs/Axles or not. He just needs to step up and answer my post after discovering what is missing and figure out what he wants to do on his end.

As usual there are two sides to every story. I just opened my computer to find everyone "tar and feathering" me. Jimmy I am sorry that you feel you got a G4 at 17k is a bad deal. I was more than accomidating with you and your bank regarding this transaction. I gave all the information I have regarding this vehicle. I purchased the vehicle from a Dealer in which I asked what had been done, so that I could continue with modifications. I always pay to have things done, I am not a mechanic by trade and thus rely on others to get the vehicle the way I want. I tracked down the original owner, got all the receipts since this vehicle NEW for you. I gave you the clear CARFAX showing it being owned by the original owner, a auction, LR, and myself.

I puchased the vehicle 7 months ago for the winter in NH, and yes I wanted to get a winch tray, but upon thinking about more about the harsh winter and relocating back to San Diego I didn't want to put any more money into it. I purchased it for 25k! I did not open to see the diffs, axles are there when I purchased the vehicle. I trailed it as I normally do and it worked for me. I'm a plug and play individual. I am not trying to slight the fact, but I was simply going by my information and what I also had done to this vehicle. It did everything on the trail I need it to do and I bragged about what it had as well!! I just had the tires, shocks, springs done on the vehicle before I put it for sale. So when I made a listing I listed all that I thought has/had been done to the vehicle!

I jumped through hoops to make you happy in this sale Jimmy. (DOHC)
I left the Air Rachets, Warn Bags, Powertank, Staun deflators, hoses for your enjoyment on the trail. I spoke with YOUR banker (Chis) even when she could not get in touch with you. (nor could I for that matter)
Had the 50k Service done at my expense so when you picked up the vehicle you were set. Had vehicle detailed TWICE at my expense, because logistically I could not get in touch with you so we could do a walk through with the vehicle upon delivery. You were in Maine and then I could not reach you on numberous occasions. So people, before you cast your judgement on me, please see both sides.

I have calls into LR regarding what they implied and what is actual regarding the axles, TT, 4:11's. I too bought a vehicle for 25k thinking all along I had a tank underneath. You paid 17k for a G4, I thought I was being reasonable!? Again sorry you feel you got "Taken". I still think you got one hell of a vehicle for the price! Furthermore, Instead of airing your, or should I say "our" laundry (transaction) on a board, I would have appreciated us dealing with it dirrectly. I didn't immediately go the DWeb when I couldn't get a hold of you to pick up your vehicle, or couldn't contact you, impeding on my travel plans. Thanks!

P.S Dave, I sent you a mail saying I was no longer interested in the tray!? It was at powder coat and our schedules could not meet up. No hard feelings I hope?

reel pain still owes DOHC for something he promised, but did not give him. sure, he got a power tank and those other accessories, but that is you who included those. you must follow through with your deal. false advertisement is a loathesome (and illegal, if i'm not mistaken) practice. make this right.

Didn't Chapman post about him being online a few days ago?

So when I made a listing I listed all that I thought has/had been done to the vehicle!

Didn't he revise his original listing to add other things after they were brought up?

Isn't there a post from EE where he states he plopped down a pretty penny or something to have this installed at the dealer and traction's great now?

Keep digging Tony, I guess your hole isn't deep enough yet.

As usual its perception again!! I did plop down a pretty penny. I don't know your pockets, but 25k for an 04 G4 was a pretty penny to me! I did revise my listing on a recommendation to list all that the vehicle had and not just a radio, tires, shock, springs and whatnot! I am not in any "hole" thank you very much.

You listed the truck with HD axels and TT's. From what I have read it does not have these items. Did it have them? Did you have them installed?

You're not in a hole. You're being a hole.

WTF? Perception. Give me a fucking break. You think it's perception that the buyer thought the G4 had HD axles, lower gears, and TTs? Yes, it's perception, BECAUSE YOU FUCKING WROTE IT IN THE AD DESCRIPTION.

Are you high? Retarded?
