John, we are going to try and go for the Aug 19th weekend....not sure about the others. I'll be out of town for Labor Day but Ivan might go if you want to head out there then!

Ok you va. folks may no but how far is liberty university from MAR? I am looking at possibly transfering there so I figure it could be a good excuse to visit va. and then go to MAR

Timmy- I'd say about an hour and a half. Definitely come up that weekend! I'll be heading to MAR from Lexington, VA (about an hour west of Lynchburg/Liberty) on that Saturday. I've got a XC meet that morning in Harrisonburg and then I'm driving over the mountain. Feel free to ride along.

first you have to make sure everyone has their regular spots. if they don't you must assist them in setup before you are granted permission to camp next to the portapotties. :rofl:

Also all first timers have to stay late sunday and clean up the property usually takes no more than 8 hours if there are 30 or so of you.

Alright, been to MAR going on 4 years now and I never get to hang out with the "cool crowd". This year I'll have a pile of Guiness in hopes of "buying" some cool friends. No really, I'm in a '91 RRC, white w/hood black out and a green Mtn Hardware Tent. Stop buy and get a beer. I'll be in the upper field. (I think that's what it's called.
