was not sure if you were kidding or not, but the meadow is closed this year. there is usually some room at the large end of the upper meadow. around the pond and through the evergreens and to the far end of that meadow on top.

ah this is what i ment, i am thinkng of staying in the upper meddow then. i did not realize there were 2 meddows? dosent philly rovers normaly camp there?

im talking about from rally control going down the hill by the house accross the dam up through the evergreens and then hanging a right once u get it the open. i remember driving through there last year and going down the lakeside trail. looked kinda flat:smilelol:

well a meadow to me is any large opening in the woods in field grass. so there are many meadows.
yes we are camping in that upper meadow closest to the evergreens, but if you drive past our location (to the right) and continue up the meadow there usually is space up there. even a bit more remote.

We're putting together a day run to Crozet on Saturday, and need to get a rough headcount of who would interested. I have already got the Ok from Chris, but just FYI we will not have any guides provided (not an issue imo as many of us have been there several times before). I think the price for the day is something like $25.

Please just sound off here if you'd like to join us.
