What did I miss?? Did his posts get deleted? What a douche pump.

You might consider parting it before trading in? I dont know if it would help or be worth it.

It was a misunderstanding... He posted a link to his truck with lux seating pack and later realized jwest was right on his listing... Posts were deleted and he stepped out since he and I were wrong.

Haven't read this whole thread but there are two seating options, the regular which has the leather with the little holes in it, and the luxury seating surfaces pack which has leather that does not have the holes in it and looks fancier.

Correct. What your talking about was not available till 08 though... Prior to that they all have the same seats.

jwest should've taken tim's offer. i think the amount was fair.

What "offer"? The ding-a-ling kept pestering me about also wanting my freaking bike rack included not to mention a shit ton of other stuff I expressly stated as not included with follow up to be sure he knew. Tell me how normal it is to expect and insist that a bike rack would be included in the sale of a car to a dealer/broker?! That was just stupid on his part.

I have an offer that was his number but just like I said, without all the roof gear which would cost about $6000 to replace. In fact, simple math shows that his "fair" offer was $2000 under trade value given by three dealer/brokers when looking at something else recently.

So, no, you are off in thinking it was fair. Not even close.

Tim's "offer" $32k but including over $6000 in parts not-included in sale notes. I've been offered actual buy bids, not trade bullshit where numbers make less sense, $28k. Taking Tim's offer would be like getting a $26k buy bid and then when you loose the sales tax credit too, it's like $25k even with NC's 3% vehicle sales tax.

Is that your idea of fair? Not really. Not to mention Tim just badgering me over it rather than saying "thanks, not interested- I can only sell it with all the gear and everything else you wouldn't normally ask ot have included" or offering an amount that would account for the parts I repeated were not for sale!

You're the sensitive artist who built a pretty show truck and is arguing over the quality of the leather seats (and/or the fact potential buyers want to haggle over the add-ons). Grow a pair.

Never argued over the quality, only someone posting incorrect info. There is no haggling over gear that is not listed as included because it is not included. Sort of stupid post on your part.

Find something useful to do with yourself and grow a brain in the meantime.
