Tim, like he said it'll be a night game. Back in the day lsu would refuse TV contracts if it wasn't a night game. As much as I love AU, lsu is the best gameday atmosphere in the sec and the hardest to play in. I grew up goingto a lot of lsu games and haven't missed the AU v lsu game in a long time.

Howski. I know what you mean. Bama is in the same boat buy I think lsu is going to have a chip on their shoulder this year and they are still loaded with talent. Mettenberger is supposedly a stud which is why I was unsure why they didn't play him last year since he was on campus in January...their offense should be good.

thUGA? I wouldn't be too hyped. With the amount of suspensions y'all have i'd be less than excited. Vasser, commings, Bacarri Rambo, ogletree, and I am Isaiah Crowell being suspended and dismissed I'd be extremely worried about Missouri. First sec night game at home against a big time sec school. That's your two LBs and corner suspended and Moses himself dismissed from UGA. And as we all know, UGA seems to get a late start...boise?

Bmxer. It sounds like a normal SEC west schedule. The east is still going to be soft. I pray everyone one of y'all beat Missouri.

Ha true that!! FSU will be another Top 10 bust. I also would add UGA to the overrated list. They have the easiest schedule in the country but will lose some games. Bet on that. Richt is known for it.

If they are a bust this year, serious consideration should be give to Jimbo's future w/the program. Should have a top 3 defense even with the loss of Greg Reid. I'm looking for major improvements in the O-line, which crippled FSU most of the 11' season.

You lost to Texas tech and play in a weak conference... And these teams that left, where are they going to win these games? The SEC has won how many straight now including us "war eagles" winning one.

Totally agree with you man. Jimbo is bringing in top notch talent yet winning 8-9 games a year. At FSU fans have high expectations and with that talent he should be winning more than 9 games. Yes, but I also think he was somewhat of a liability at corner. Just very inconsistent. We'll reload at corner and should have someone very good at PR although he may not be the game-changer Reid was.

I will give you that we lost to Texas tech., which Im still not a fan of our qtrback. Didn't you guys have n 8-5 season last year? Almost losing to Utah st. Thank goodness you had a couple refs on your team or it might have been 7-6. Big 12 a weak conference! Haha dont even have to comment on that one. And its kind of hard for another conference to win when two sec south at that are playing in the championshipgame. Yes I HATE to say it but osu should have been playing in that game! we can talk till we are blue in the face. Until they play each other or one plays in the others conference, OR they do the playoffs we are pissing in the wind! You have you opinion and so do I. But if they do play in the near future then I will really ne enjoying it!

This is just not true. If Okie St. would have gone undefeated I would say absolutely but an OT loss to the SEC Champ on a few missed field goals > a blown lead and loss to Iowa State

Me personally, I just don't think you should be playing in the national championship game without winning your conference. I mean it is called the NATIONAl championship . I am a big supporter of a play off system. I just don't get how an auburn fan (tigers war eagles whatever they are) thinks the sooners ( which is consistently ranked higher, beginning and end of season) are not "good" ? Opinions!

Bama deserved to be in the game. OSU was favored by 28+ points and lost to a 6 win team. Bama lost to the SEC Champion and #1 team by a FG in OT. LSU NEVER had the lead until they won in OT. Bama finshed the season winning out and if OSU, USC and OU wanted to have their shot at that game they should have won their games like Bama did. That may be your opinion that you should win your conference but that isn't the BCS' opinion. There was nothing stating you had to win your conference to play in the BCS Championship. The BCS is in place to match up the 1 vs 2 teams in the nation and that was Bama and LSU. Bottom line. The only thing that sucks is they were both in the same division in the same conference. That just shows you how strong the SEC really is.
