Penn State is getting a legal death penalty. All types of current players transferring and most of their commits now are decommitting and looking at other schools. With all of that happening plus losing scholarships this will deplete the PSU football program for years to come.

Me personally, I just don't think you should be playing in the national championship game without winning your conference. I mean it is called the NATIONAl championship . I am a big supporter of a play off system. I just don't get how an auburn fan (tigers war eagles whatever they are) thinks the sooners ( which is consistently ranked higher, beginning and end of season) are not "good" ? Opinions!

Look at the Big 12 vs the SEC, we win the National Championship, y'all lose to us.

A playoff system won't prove anything. So with the 4 team playoff do you let it be the conference champions or let it be the 4 best teams?? What if there are 3 SEC teams 1, 2 and 3 and the other conference champions are ranked lower. You shouldn't penalize a team that is ranked 2 or 3 if they do not win their conference. A perfect example of that is the Big Least. Every year they suck and one of their 8 win teams gets a BCS bowl bid over a team that has worked its ass off and won 11-12 games and is in the Top 10 and gets fucked over.

Week one is upon us... Any predictions?

I think Bama beats Michigan by at least 10, Auburn hangs with Clemson for 3 quarters but loses by a TD :( , and Boise loses to Michigan State.

Anyone seeing any upsets?

Feeling good about UGA this year. Of course I say that every year.

I say the same thing about Tennessee, every year. For the past 14 years.:ack:

Never stops me from going to at least three or four of the home games. Winning season or not, I love a good football game in Neyland Stadium.

Vandy beats USCe
alabama big over Michigan
Tennessee over NC State
Auburn over clempsum. No one in the trenches, and watkins suspended. Pressure on Boyd and its game over.

Bama kills Michigan
NC St over TN
I honestly can't decide on Aubs/Clemson. Both O lines are weak. Giving the edge to the War Eagles though.

Vandy beats USCE.
Bama beats Mich by 2 TD's.
NC State beats UT in a close one.
Very undecided on the Tiger/War Eagle/Tiger matchup. Going to be a close one and for me too close to call it.

Vandy got screwed on that pass interference non-call. I really hope USCe is exposed for the mediocre team they are this year

Apparently Da'Rick Rogers transferred. Poor vawls.

Poor nothing. He was good and we could have really used him this year. But I'm happy to support a team that won't compromise their rules and values to keep talent.

Justin Hunter will pick up the slack.

Yeah South Carolina is NOT a top 10 team. Totally overrated. Vandy's front 4 are good but undersized. Connor Shaw is gutsy but won't make it through the entire season. He isn't that good.
