I can't afford your 109 but I am in lust with it.

Besides, in a few weeks I'm starting on restoring the MGB, so I'll be really broke. PT you any good with twin SU side draft carbs? :D

I'm interested in a rough project truck. I never owned a series and just want to tinker and learn. A sub 1k truck would be the ideal tool for this. Deff not in the market for a 10k truck

That's cool if your not interested in my IIa but if you don't mind a little advice-a sub 1K series is very likely going to be a rusted out basket case that if restorable will cost you well over 10K to get even close to right.

If you are looking for a good restoration vehicle I would suggest you adjust you budget from 4-5K so you at least get a solid foundation to work from. Spend as much as you can on the vehicle from the start and you'll spend much less in the long run.

I'm totally aware of this, probably just going to do some work on it to get it to be functional then sell it on. If I get hooked I'll put the money back into another project with more potential, it's kinda what I do

I know the guy. The frame needs a new rear crossmember unless something has changed from 3 years ago.

Which frame needs a rear cm?
If you get in contact with him, let him know I'm interested i his trucks. The CL post is over a month old though...

I haven't talked to him in 3 years (moved away from PA) and don't have an email address for him. The guy isn't big into email as it is. I'm surprised he posted something on CL.

Cool, hopefully he gets back to me about these, shoot me a PM if you have any info on the trucks. I appreciate your response,
