300tdi, runs strong.
Complete rebuild, including new injector pump and new turbo, with less than 50k miles on it.
LT230 works normally, auto tranny shifts fine.
All electronics removed from truck and replaced with toggle switches and relays. Even the seats were replaced with manual units from a BMW.
Waste vegetable oil system currently in truck.
The bad: broken rear half shaft. Bad vibration just started in front end.
Tires worn, lots of mods to body as you can see from photos.
Basically I am selling the truck for what I think the 300tdi should be worth.

The truck's engine runs like a champ, just decided to go a different direction.
Not much of the original truck left. Definitely a unique vehicle, just not what I need anymore.
I think the drivers front cv joint is heading south, and I just replaced the passenger side cv joint.

Curious what would be involved in doing a swap into a 1996 Discovery? I'm not interested in this one at this time as mine still runs (even if it is sucking gas). But in the future as a long-term project (buying up parts, etc), how difficult is it to do a swap with the Disco's electrics and all that stuff?

I have no idea what would be involved with the electronics part of the swap.i removed all the British electronics and replaced it with a simple fuse box, relays, and toggle switches!
Mechanically, it was simple.

I did it with the help of a friend. It's not hard, just time consuming.

This must be a sign of the end of days!! A man with a reasonable idea of what a Land Rover with an old diesel swap is worth.

Oh I'm sure if you did it with your friend it was extremely hard.

The truck has OME HD springs and shocks. I have an extra LT230 transfer box, shop manual, brand new spare tire and steel rim, and a few spare parts to include. 30 gallon stainless steel WVO tank, 10 gallon diesel tank, K+N air filter. Full after-market gauge set-up. Custom switch panel. GPS speedometer.
