Copley is asking $45k for a Series II 88. The pictures make it look beautiful and I'm sure it's flawless, but $45,000 for a Series?
It's certainly interesting. And not only for the rovers.DiscoveryXD said:i would love to walk around the showroom though.
DiscoveryXD said:those prices are insane.... Why would someone pay 60k for a 97 D90? yes, they do have low miles, but you could buy a used one and put a new engine and all sorts of crap in it for les than that....
i would love to walk around the showroom though.
Jamooche said:They pay that amount because they couldn't be bothered with fixing up an older truck or replacing an engine.
I once walked around their showroom when they were in downtown Boston last year when they had the $75K D90 with 1500 miles on it for sale. They completely ignored me.
DiscoveryXD said:good point... i wish i had money to throw around like that.
Exactly! It'll sit on Nantucket for 17 years until it's a total rust-bucket and will be given away to someone...KevinNY said:Copley sells trucks to pro athletes and people whose beach house is bigger than your home. Somebody will buy it and leave it on Nantucket for summer ice cream runs.
