60 sidewall height

Will a 60 sidewall height tire fit on the rear carrier without modification?

Follow up: If not, will using stock (55) ht. spare wreck the diff driving to get a flat fixed?

The height is a function of width, as a result, not knowing the rest, it's difficult to make a definitive statement.

Same as stock 18", but 1" higher sidewall: 255/60-18

Wondering if I can get a spare to fit the stock carrier (without adapter), also if not, will using one of the 255/55's temporarily if I get a flat will kill a diff.

Yes it will fit. Last year, I fitted a 255/60-18 Hankook RF10 just fine.

FWIW, you can get a 265/75/16 (and maybe slightly bigger) on a standard carrier by simply flipping it over. Its a very easy mod.

I just put a 245-75-16 on mine and it *just* rubs the rear bumper rubber top part. But it fits. Just an FYI to anyone interested as I know it's not what the original poster asked.
