How many miles on it? Is the block just tired? Recent service?

Maybe throw some new plugs and wires at it. Change the oil, transmission and t-case fluid along with the diffs, just for the hell of it. Pour two cans of seafoam into the gas tank and fIll it up with some top tier 93.

That seems about right. My 96 with 185K on it and steel front and rear bumpers, stock gears, slightly oversized tires was doing that. I had it dyno tested and it was getting 108 or 113 HP at the wheels. Very tired!

Does your speedometer do anything weird at that speed? If so, VSS. OBDII live data is more accurate at diagnosing this symptom.

Don't bother with any of those fixes. 125hp shot of nitrous. That's the miracle in a bottle to get you over the 70mph mark. … But wait , there's more. It will also make the parts that needed replacement very obvious.

So I've chased all the codes no more codes, replaced cam sensor crank sensor water sensor fuel temp sensorry all 4 o2 sensors new fuel pump also new fuel filter also, I've been busy I just took out the headliner and am going to real and tighten sun roof and blast out drain tube because 3 out of 4 are plugged and rtv sealer is hanging off, plus I've already done the Italian tuneup for a week.

I could go for an Italian sub from the shop down the street right now.

My 1996 with 173,000 (rebuilt top end) can cruise easily on flats at 70 mph at around 2200 rpm. Much slower on hills, though where it's hard or impossible to peg 70. I just pop over into the right lane. But it's lifted, bigger tires, rack, big front bumper with wench...etc.
