After driving the truck for over an hour or so, it dies out while driving or at stop lights . It cranks, but no start and has a strange smell while trying ..
However, It does start when it cools down about 30 min after.. but only drives until hot again and then dies..
I have no codes and a brand new fuel pump...
Could it be injectors? This seems to happen only when it gets really hot...

Any feedback greatly appreciated... Thanks

The dying at stop lights sounds like an idle air control valve.

The not wanting to start until it cools down sounds like an ignition amplifier.

Remove the idle air control valve and clean it well!

The '95s should have the ignition amp up on the radiator core support. If it's still on the distributor, go ahead and replace it and relocate it if you feel the need, although it did last 13 years where it is.
