Hi,

I have a 95 with about 130 000 KM. I rescently spent 4000$ ( fuel pump, starter, coil springs shocks, hood lock, front head lights, brake pads, etc..) after i neglected the truck for a year or two. I know i am a very bad man, but i was busy.
My question is: what life should i expect with regular oil changes out of the engine, gear box(ZF) and the transfer case. I want to get an idea of the future costs.
By the way I went for the recall on the gas tank and they repalced it along with the gas pump. Finally a free bee.

Thanks
Lino

I've got 250,000+km on my 95 and she's still going strong. Had a tick/tap for a few months last summer but lucas and regular oil changes have seemed to stop that.

Engine, auto and T-case all are very durable if kept topped up and fluids changed regularly.

I would not expect failure anytime soon. Just be vigilant for t-case leaks especially and check level as regularly as possible [I check mine every 3k miles].

Valhalla I am coming home!
60,000 miles / 94,000 kilometers. No engine or gearbox issues yet. I keep fluids topped off. Change the oil frequently 3 months/3000 miles whichever is sooner and always drain the gearbox sump and refill with fresh fluid when changing the engine oil.
