Really? I voted against him because of what is going on now with our country. You just showed your true colors by saying people who did not vote for Obama were racist.. Typical Lib!

 Shit, I thought you were serious at first... next time use a smiley so I know you're joking. :)

We don't want to steer the idiots toward a sane candidate like Huntsman.
What is it about Huntsman that has the left ejaculating all over themselves?
Whenever the left tells me who to vote for, I want to say "Thanks for sharing. Now go play in traffic."

Vote for Bachmann.

I have a hunch that the first candidate to state unequivocally that the earth is flat will clinch the GOP nomination.

Absolutely. The current crop of declared, republican candidates perpetuates the idea that there is no intellectual requirement for the Presidency. Instead, what we have from the right wing of GOP is something straight out of a Farrelly Brothers film, say "Dumb and Dumber". Evolution is considered to be an elite or advant-garde "theory"....

Speaking at Regent University not too long ago, Perry made light of his poor grades at Texas A&M. (Is it a good idea to diss academic performance in front of an audience of college students?) D's in veterinary science, "feeds and feeding" and a course called "Meats." Even a C in gym....:smilelol:

Palin supposedly graduated after just nine semesters - at what. seven separate institutions - four of which were community colleges? We all know how well college course credits transfer. This bunch makes W's self-proclaimed C-student status look like a Rhodes scholar.

Bachmann has become a running punch line. Her head staffers recently quit - as did Newt's entire staff a while back. Stupidity is now apparently a party plank. Blockheads on parade.

I certainly hope one of these chumps runs. I look forward to the amusement value....:p

Peter,

There seem to be a large number of candidates that garner popularity with unwashed electorate by denying the existence of widely known scientific theories.

I have a hunch that the first candidate to state unequivocally that the earth is flat will clinch the GOP nomination.
Scott,

I am a physicist, but after having read about this year's Nobel prize in physics I am ready to vote for whoever says the Earth is flat (Mercator is my friend).

It won't matter at this point who gets the republican vote...the party is too fractured to support one candidate.

No surprise there Peter, pushing a carto/political agenda by favoring a map that overstates the area of traditionally light skinned populations in the northern and polar areas over those of the darker equatorial populations.

We lefties prefer the Mollweide projection.

After all this is over, if the GOP knocks Obama out of office, what will you lefties say then? Since, you know, there is no chance of that...

Even if Cain were to be elected, Republicans will be called racists. Guys like Scott are absolutely obsessed with race.

Not racist, just guilty of tokenism.

There are 41 blacks in the 112th congress, only one of which is a republican. There are no blacks in the senate, there have only been six black senators and two were republicans during the time of reconstruction.

Clarence Thomas is a prime example of republican tokenism, Cain would be no different.

I will vote for Herman Cain if for no other reason than the fact that he might just go back to being a businessman after his term(s) is/are over.

I don't think it's the big dollars in politics that are the root of the problem, it's the life-time career politician AND the big $.

If we would go back to the Jeffersonian concept of cyclical representation where butchers, bakers, and candlestick makers (but no buggie-whip makers, can't have THOSE kind in office!) serve a term and GO BACK TO THEIR REAL JOBS, things might stabilize and be better for us all.

Of the available candidates for me to select from, there were no blacks.
That makes me a racist, right?

I'm registered as "No Party Affiliation".
I don't follow the D line or the R line.
If there's a candidate whom I think is worth more than a bucket of warm spit, I'll vote for him/her.
I really don't care if they're black or bald or have nice tits.

Do we all need to only elect blacks to make things "fair"?
Please feel free to be a racist, and vote for someone based on skin color.

I'm tellin' you guys, remove the big money and special interests from the equation, and things will begin to fall into place. The institutionalized corruption in our government is the cornerstone of their shield against democracy.

Only if they are democrats.

Black democrats are down for the cause.
Black republicans are tokens.

It didn't matter that Clarence Thomas is a conservative and his opinions have been consistent; he is a token.

Were Condoleeza Rice and Colin Powell tokens as well?

How about Thomas Sowell. He is the Rose & Milton Friedman Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution. Talk about being a token. He is a token^2. He is a token black given a position to honor two token conservative Jews. The conservative right will stoop to the deepest levels to advance their tokenism in order to hide their deep rooted racism.
