From what I'm hearing, no. Some are saying the only cure is a full modulator swap.

Can't help you there but I've heard this from a few people including some LR techs. If I ever need one I'll get a used '04 one. New ones are $900 to $1200 depending on who you source.

new ones are $2,800 at the LR dealer in canada. They used to be 1,800$ a couples of months ago.Wabco has supposevely fixed the problem but at what price.A lot of people have had negative results with the valve repair kit.If you buy a used one just pray it does not malfuntion two months later after paying several hundreds of dollards.
But for 2,800$ i would try it but if you can afford it and really want it you could go with the new unit at least it will be fixed and done with. But make sure its the new unit and not the old part number.I had the problem with them they quoted me 1,800 and when i went in to get it fixed they said that the part was no longer availeble and was replaced with the new one that does not have that problem anymore. Its your call but a shitty one to make eitheir way.

Thanks folks. This is a tired subject and I was hesitant to start a thread. At this point I've got two used modulators in my garage and have replaced the shuttle valves more than once. I let the dealer do it this last time in case I was doing something wrong. The dealer fix faulted after three days.

At $1,800, $2,000 or whatever I might as well put that cash towards lockers...or buy a honda.
