I added it to my Netflix queue, and just finished watching the DVD. Yeah, the boat extraction scene was definitely badass. I liked it, the toys we had when I served back in the day wasn't anywhere near as cool as what they had in this movie.
Sure, there was a little Hollywood in the movie, and the plot was predictable - but I enjoyed the hell out of it anyway. There were little bits of realism sprinkled in, I especially noticed the Seals actually reloading in the middle of a gunfight for example. That little detail made it real to me.
I think the Seals did a good job on their parts too - especially considering that they were not professional actors. And yeah, it did get emotional at the end.
Go see it.
