4k would buy a runner. Technically this is a runner as well.
BUT....I Drove it. Its SCARY. The bushings are BEYOND Shot. I have never felt anything like it. And the Rubber bushins one shock are missing so it clanks. and it seriously needs a new steering box, or this one is looser than a hooker in *#^...well, you get the point. Ugh.
Anyhow, you may be right. IF I can find a NICE one I would. But with the salty air here they all have rust. If not they want a LOT of money. I think this one is borderline to where its still worth salvaging, but another few years with no attention and being parked outside and it will be done.
