Got it...

SALTY1247YA254802

Ran it thru carfax and it comes up a 4.0L. I kindly informed him and waiting his response...

He's an idiot.

His response to me:
by the way the coolant isn't interchangeable... the 4.0 uses the green coolant and the 4.6 uses the red (orange stuff). All rovers used the old Lincoln engine block for the sake of reference.

thanks,
d

And:

really.......... i am sorry if you are mislead about these facts... i have the bill of sale.

thanks,
dale

He sent me the same pictures. He has no clue what he is selling. He's insisting that we don't know what we are talking about and that I need to do some research on the difference between the 2. I'll post up the emails when I get back from
the gym

I should go out and take a picture of my 2000 4.0 and send it to him asking if his 4.6 looks like this 4.6 that's in my 04 and see what he says. Maybe he would then use that picture as his own to show a 4.6.

Can some post pics. He tried to say a d1 was the same as a d2 just with a different motor.

So now he thinks that it was 2000 that lr made the transistion to d2. He really is a arrogant prick. He said it was a small run of trucks and it special... I'm having a ball with this.
