No much more of a Billy Joel kind of guy... Throw in a little Sting, Beach boys, and ZZ top and you have my play list covered.

But to be honest if the music has a good rhythm, and is not angry or anti cop or belittling to woman i will listen to anything some.

Fill that gap with those Beach Boys cds...

I will poke over to the Australian forums as those folks know "off road" so i am sure someone has encountered the issue.

Not saying that Aussies don't "off road" but their trucks are typically more setup for long distance, reliable expeditions. They're not really looking for approach angle(thus, the ARB).

Well then it must be an old faded Obama sticker....

Nope, pretty much just one sticker on my truck...

Post a picture of that ARB opening.

I will try to take a picture in the am... it is however huge. So much so you can easily mount the winch coming from the bottom with the bumper installed. That is good and bad of course.

The winch is yet to come, trying to decide which one i want to purchase. i have been a Warn guy for many years but since the Disco will be my back up truck not sure i want to go all out on the cost of the Warn.

Having driven the Haul Road to the Arctic circle, Baja, and the big lap around the Island of Newfound land i have discovered it is best not to have a lower access route to your radiator (or even your gas tank) if you like your radiator so i have to imagine some form of stone guard is called for.

I will poke over to the Australian forums as those folks know "off road" so i am sure someone has encountered the issue.

Dont think Ive ever heard of someone damaging their radiator because they didnt have a skid plate. I do have a gas tank skid plate but that hangs down way lower than the radiator.

If you drive on roads like the haul road or Baja you will be surprised what takes a beating that close to the ground. This is doubly so if you are traveling behind someone at speeds or when you meet a truck.

I run gravel forest roads on the way to the trail head, usually not faster than 35-40mph.. I can see rocks hitting the oil pan or even go through the grill, My truck is also lifted 4" so it doesnt sit very low.

Hey if you feel like you need a skid plate... go for it!

Only one sticker, but damn a lot of other useless shit! haha

No it pretty much all gets used... The trasharoo is a bit kitch but it is great when you are camping to keep your trash up and allows you to pick up others trash as well (nasty people fouling the wild areas is a pet peeve of mine).

As for the swing. When i pull the trailer i carry 10 gallons of fuel and for extended camping i carry the extra water to supplement the 15 gallons i carry inside the truck and 5 gallons as a safe guard.

We do off grid for several days at a time without potable water sources and i am a fan of potable water...

Probably your best response yet, but it is negated due to the fact that you wearing a Tapout T-shirt.

boy are you always wrong... i have a canvas long sleeve shirt and sweater vest on with some Kaki slacks. I did not change from work yet.

I am however waiting for you to actually to say something funny.

So far it just seems you are unsure of your sexuality because of the Gay comments; embrace it don't fight it. Oddly enough i find most Gay people have a good sense of humor. I guess it skipped you. That was confirmed by your picture. You trading pictures with Anthony Weiner and just had it handy?

When i get the picture of the huge hole under the front end and the nice scoop Land Rover built in to direct the air to the radiator i think you will under stand my concerns. This is huge, like stuff a 40lb dog in size hole.

not sure about minivan's but I saw plenty of mini coopers at the summit...

By the summit do you mean the road to the firing range? As for the event it is a great one, i encourage all that are in the SE make an effort to come at some point. Great off grid camping and some interesting trails actually on and around the site.

I hope to make it this year and if i get the Disco up to scratch i will likely bring it but i must admit the trailer makes for some great sleeping and the campsite is all road or gravel road to where you camp.

I ran one and did nothing about the gap. Never had an issue, aside from the bumper hitting everything I wanted to drive over.

I had a quick look at your profile and in that picture you can actually see the lower ramp that feeds air to the bottom of the radiator and a touch of the radiator body as well.

BTW, did you find that your truck ran slightly hotter with the ARB? I ask that because without covering that hole the compressed air can escape down instead of the more resistance path of passing thru the radiator body.

thanks in advance for a reply and if you can post that picture on your profile i think it might help others visualize the potential issue.

good to hear however you did not have an issue
