Okay, so Saturday night, 2/27/10 I get on-line and order 2 new O2 sensors from Atlantic British. They charged my card and I got an e-mail thanking me for the order and telling me they would be sending another e-mail with tracking number as soon as it was sent.

I saw online that they have a wast coast warehouse, so Monday I called to see if they could ship the parts from there west coast location. The person I talked to told me that they had already set it up to ship from that location, and I would be getting a tracking number soon.

Wednesday, still no tracking number, so I called again to get a tracking number. They said that they could not access the tracking number, but the order should be there that day or the next day. Thursday still no parts.

Gave them another call on Thursday and their East coast office finaly called their west coast location. They find out that the parts still have not shipped, So they are now telling me that I should get the parts Monday 3/8/10.... will see

What in the world?, I could have had parts shipped from the other side of the pond faster.. Anyway. I sure hope they sent the right parts after all this.

I give my first experience with BA a 3 out of 10 head bangs :banghead::banghead::banghead:

Okay my rant is over!

They're usually very good, in my experience.

We're human and fallible.

I very much agree with you there! And it's, so far not been too bad. Just kinda sucks to have your first experience not be a smooth one. But it's all good. :patriot:

Have ordered a few things from them in the past, some fairly recently and they arrived within a couple of days. Good service so far.

Same here, ordered a t-stat a month ago, and it was right on time.

I did not do business with them for many years and have found their "New York attitude" leaves much to be desired.

They have divulged a friend of mine's entire buying history to a hostile attorney. They waited almost a month to refund my brother-in-law for some parts bought on his credit card. They refused to honor internet advertisements for parts for me, promised to make it up on my next order, and never did.

I've had three or four godo experiences with them. I've had fewer bad experiences with Rovers North where I've spent about a quarter mil over the past eight years. I've had better experiences with Steve Young at DAP!

Now, that all said, lately, they do seem to have gotten their shit together and I've had better luck.

They should have at least overnight-ed the part to me at no extra cost! But that would have been asking too much I know. Goose-fraba

I recently placed a large order with them on a late Friday and it arrived on the following Monday. Other orders worked out fine as well.

I've been a customer of Atlantic British since 1972 and the only problem I've EVER had with them was a bad set of motor mounts which they replaced for free about fifteen years ago.

I always try to talk to Eric Riston - he knows his Land Rovers and is an all around good guy.

I ordered two front o2 sensors last week and they were here in two days. I ordered two rear o2's this week and same deal, two days. I called so that may have made the difference?

Sorry to hear about the inconvenience. You can't beat their price on o2 sensors right now though.

I recently had a similar shipping problem from the Northeast. I ordered some camera equipment and it took 4 days for the tracking order to come up. I was expecting it to be at my front door by then!

I emailed them and asked, "WTF mate" and they said that all the snow up there has slowed everything down.

Fair enough. I think all shipping up there has been hit hard like that.
