Well measurements from the ground to the top of the rear wheel well is 37.5 inches and the front wheel well is 36.5 inches. I'm running 265/75/r16 Cooper STTs. So with my tires, I got 5.5 inches lift in the rear and 4.75 inches in the front according to AlanB's info from Atlantic British. I use the OME 763's in the rear and 764's in front. I wanted the rear to be a little heavier because I tow a boat. I do notice a little vibration at certain speeds, I'm not sure if its my tires or my front driveshaft (still running stock)

AlanB - I talked to you on the phone the other day and you mentioned that you changed your front driveshaft, how can I pin point this vibration before I spend the $$ on a front driveshaft? The picture posted is a close up of the front driveshaft, I dont know how far it can extend, but you can see in the picture how much its moved.

etc.. what kind of rims do you have on your truck? they don't look like the atlantic british steelies..

I went out and measured my truck again today.. as I was feeling outdone on discoweb.. couldn't sleep at night.. looking at 35's and 5" roverym springs.. heh.. but anyway..

I'm at 38.5 in the rear and 37.5 in the front.. and my 33" bfg's are down an inch due to wear..

looking at the SSR super swampers in a 305/70/16.. any thoughts dwebbers?

Yes they be procomps, good eye skippy3k....

My tires are 32's, so thats where you get your xtra inch of lift, MikeD. I was going to go with bigger tires, but again I had towing in mind and need all the HP I can get. I will let you win the ground clearance war.....but remember I've only had my P38 for less than 2 weeks....WATCH OUT!!!! hahahahhahaaa

you'll quickly find out that its painful to go any bigger then where you are.. I've allready replaced both driveshafts in favour of greatbasins.. extended my brake lines.. now i'm trying to find proper length shocks or design and fabricate some shock relocation brackets to use longer bodied shocks.. the rubbing when the truck flexes is bad now.. so i can just imagine what you'd need to fit 35's on it.. my next step is a set of those super swamper 305/70/16.. and then i'll try to get another 2 inches of lift out of it with springs.. i never really liked the idea of spacers when springs work just fine.. but.. they might be an option for me down the road when i'm stuck..

I've got skinny 33's on the truck now.. and I really want to get a 12" wide tire next.. instead of a 35.. so.. we'll see what needs to be done to flex those properly :]

good looking truck etc, i definately enjoy the competition here.. i've only seen one other lifted p38a in the tri state area.. and theres only a handful in the country according to discoweb... so welcome to the club. :D

I'm going to stick with my 32" tires and my current lift height so I hope not to have quite as many issues as you appear to be having ;)

PS - my front shock mounts were made of 2" box tubing and it works well.
