looks like that sd rack might be sold... in which case... does the backpack rack allow for the rear sunroof to open.

Any thoughts on mounting the spare to the roof rack?

I'm really surprised it's still for sale as well, especially with the recent drop in price. I seriously thought about it even at the higher price but even though it would fit, I think it would sit too high on a RRC since the gutter mounts are closer to the roofline.

Robbie-is yours powdercoated? Mine is the shiny black paint....

I didn't think the DI rack would fit a DII?? Also, I don't think you would want to mount a tire up there, but I guess you could!

I'd like to have mine powdercoated ... the tabs on the rain gutters are flaking off b/c it's the shiny paint so I'd love for the entire thing to be redone.

i did mine in linex. it was cheaper than powdercoating and is holding up great
