Bearing Differences.....?

On the D1 wheel bearings I found 2 different manufactures, Timken and SKF. Does anyone know which is better? I have the SKF already but can also get the Timkens if better. Thanks for the info all.

Well, I called a local bearing supplier here in Dallas and asked them this question. The answer was both are equally high quality bearings and either one would be a good pick. He said both are top teer. So for those that also wanted to know, here ya go. The SKF are more money though by about $10.00.

Are either made in the U.S. anymore? This might drive me one way or the other. I personally used Timkens because of availability.

I just went through this. The Timkens from AutoZone were made in the USA and about $14/bearing.
