Berryman's B-12 Chemtool

I know some of you have used chemtool in your fuel tanks. Has anyone added Berryman's to the crankcase or transmission?

I was also planning on adding it to diffs; right before I drain them all, of course.

Is any of this advisable?

Fuel goes in the fuel tank.

Oil goes in the crankcase.

Coolant goes in the radiator.

ATF goes in the trans and PAS.

90 wt goes in the the diffs.

Would anyone recommend solvents before a fluid change?

Sounds like a "motor flush" and they do make that for the crankcase and I have heard pros & cons on using Motor Flush in the crank case.

I see what you are thinking, and I just replaced my Diff gear lube and was thinking that I was probably leaving a lot of junk in the diff. based on some of the small shavings and gunky lube on the magnet on the drain plug. I would say maybe in the diffs, but would stay away from the tranny, too risky I would think, use a motor flush on the engine crankcase if you want to clean it out, rather than Berryman's.

When I bought my DII with 80K I used a motor flush made to work with the new synthetic oil I would be using, but that was basically to do a cleaning of regular oil crude before beginning to use the synthetic. Just my 2 cents or less!!
