I use my 2002 SE7 as my commuter car and was wondering what the best option is for a driveshaft replacement. This particular rover of mine has very limited off road use so that should not be a factor in my purchase. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

In your case I'd leave the rotoflex in back and have greasable u-joints installed everywhere else. If you don't do your own maintenance you will need to insist and verify that your lube shop greases them when you get your oil changed. They will look in their computer and say "Land Rover DII's don't have grease fittings". You will need to insist you do. The best way is to do it yourself often.

Cheers,

Mike

Check the prices on LR Genuine or OEM at Atlantic British, British Pacific, Rovers North. Then check prices on GBR. If GBR or Tom Woods is cheaper or equal, do that.

IMO, rebuild should be cheaper than $150. I had my GBR rebuilt for $50. 2xUJ, + Balance.
