I was wondering what you guys would reccommend for an easy to use hand wax. Any help would be appreciated!! Something that is easy to apply and remove. Thanks in adavance. Not for eyebrows or bikini area for a vehicle.

Zymol is pretty easy for hand wax, and it works very well. I have used it on very high dollar cars, and nobody ever complains.

I use their cleaner wax, 14 bucks at any parts store, on the Disco, because their expensive stuff would be silly for that purpose. It really keeps scratches out of my paint. I get pinstripes in the wax, take her home, a few minutes later, right as rain!

they have waxes that cost thousands though, and plenty in between. Bang for the buck, is their 50 dollar line, if you are going to put it on something that you won't just dunk in mud and scratch to hell.

Cheers,

Kennith

I only use Meguiar's paint protector products because I have always had good results. I like their clay bar too. I used to use a clay bar on a show/driver car I had years ago and it always worked great. The clay bar stuff works wonders for getting tree sap and general crap off your truck. I try to do it once or twice a year and then put on a nice coat of wax. The paint always comes out looking and feeling like glass.

Back on the clay bar subject. I had a question about ease of use. It's really simple and uses a diluted wax spray to lubricate the clay bar. The clay feels like silly putty and should just glide over the surface when wet. If it starts to get stuck to the surface, you need to spray more of the liquid on your truck and then keep sliding away. Well worth the time and money. You can pick up a 'kit' for around $15-$20 and it is good for several (5-10) uses depending on the size of what you're using it on. Should take about 30-45 minutes to do a whole Rover.
