Ive never drank for 15 hours straight and stayed up through the next day drinking. Then not sleeping. Ive never been this hungover. Usually a few McDonalds breakfast sandwiches, some 8hr tylenol and a Function Urban Detox do the trick, but this hangover is different. Weed used to do the trick back when I didnt get random testing. Im attributing the hangover to the absence of sleep. And the liter of Jameson I drank. The only shitty part is that my wallet is now $400 lighter, but I only remember $200 worth of it. The rest is hazy.

obviously you weren't a college student going to an SEC school. $400? good lord... i cringe when i spend more than $30 in one day of marathon drinking. but i'm also cheap.

It helps me to eat something at the end of the night and drinking some water. If you take an prescription drugs don't take them when you first wake up. Drinking some more the next day helps too!

Don't take tylenol...Take asprin (not recommended as can irritate the stomach). Advil (ibuprofen) or Aleve (naproxen - my fave) are better.

I'm a firm believer in grease helping cure a hangover (read somewhere that it stimulates the metabolism). And lots of water.

But in the end, what really works is sleep...or more beer.

actually the best cure is an 800-mg Ibuprofen knocked back with a big glass of water and then some good ol' fashioned sex

I once suffered from ITP (Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura) when I was in 12th grade. Doctors said it could be a one time thing or it could become chronic. They advised me to steer clear of certain medicines in the chance that it recurs. The active ingredient in aspirin/advil has been known to thin the blood, which would not be good for me, so Im stuck with tylenol.

Tylenol 3 is pretty good.

Yeah, some people can't handle NSAIDs and the like. They are stuck with Tylenol. What you want is something that thins the blood (ie lower BP) and reduce swelling. Short reason: it lowers the pounding in you head. Tylenol is just a pain reliever, but doesn't reduce the cause of your headache.

Now Tylenol 3...well, I'm sure codeine is quite good at pain relief. So is vicodin, pecocet, xanax (just knocks my ass out). ;)

My gameplan is this: Drink two liters water before drinking, take a multivite (gets vitamins and minerals in the body before you poison yourself). While drinking, drink a glass of water between every two drinks, keeps you hydrated. You're gonna piss like a racehorse, but it's better than feeling like racehorse piss in the morning.

Eat before drinking. Greasy food. A nice greasy hamburger or mexican food works great.

Before bed/after sex drink a huge glass of water, take an ibuprofeun.

Wake up, if you feel like ass, get a bloody mary in ya or a Guiness if it's around.

Eat breakfast, go to work.

Repeat x5, you get 2 days off on the weekend. :)

+1. I love going out for a night in Auburn or Athens and spending $15 or less for a night of drinking
