I've been running 265/75 M/Ts for the last 4 years, including some decent mileage off pavement, and still on factory axleshafts (211kmi).

Ditto on the rubber that you are running. I found that a little tweek on the steering stops was required to alleviate a little rubbing and I also extended my bump stops by about 2 inches too.
As for the side shafts, etc. I am busy installing my ARB difflock, HD side shafts and HD ring and pinions just to make sure that I DON"T have to "baby the Landy" over any tough obstacle.
PS: watch the tech section...... compressor fitted, bearings pressed onto ARB and pinions.....ripping the 3rds out this weekend and going to set them up. Got loads of pics, so I'll try and give you a "decent & informative" post ;)
