Anyone had issues with broken old motor mounts? Just rececently had both motor mounts and transfer case mounts break letting the motor, tranny and case fall down on the cross member...

When this happens, the first thing to go is MAF hose disconnecting from the throttle body port. The engine will stall once you let go of the thin pedal.
Fortunately for me, I had the left-side motor mount chain-wrapped before the trail run.

Get the qt's and be done with it. Last summer I was riding along with a buddy at an offroad event setup by a local club at a farm near Taylorsville and all 4 of his mounts went. Same type of weather as we are having now.

I went through several sets of Allmakes mounts. IMO they're junk for any rig which sees anything more than a paved road. Finally got the QTs (didn't know about the MIT's or I would have inquired) and am done with torn motor mounts.

Now, for fair warning, you will feel more vibration (for lack of a better word) in the vehicle since the QT mounts have very little (if really any) absorption ability. But the tradeoff is that they sure as hell won't fail.
