The D110 calipers will work with D1 rotors. D90 calipers use vented rotors and are not directly compatible with D1 rotors. It might be possible to modify D90 calipers to work with D1 rotors by removing spacers, but I'm not sure about that. Brake pads are different between D1 and Defender (more surface area). I did this upgrade a couple years ago (D110 calipers) and the improvement in stopping power is nice. Check the vendors for sale section of Discoweb, PT Schram and Will Tillery were both offering upgrade kits at one time.

I was searching the casting numbers & the part numbers.
The problem I ran into was with the fronts which I feel were boxed incorrectly so I have only the casting numbers & visual to go by.
I also posted links to pics of all four.

These are the part numbers I came up with for the rears:
Rear left... AEU1717, FRC10846, RTC5890
Rear right… AEU1716, FRC10846, RTC5889
I think these work with RRC & D1 with solid rotors….. again not 100% sure at this point.

You should call PT Schram and see if he can sort through that mess for you.
